SUP Board Basics
Learn the basics you need to know to stand up and paddle with confidence.
Must be a confident swimmer.
Learning objectives of the course:
SUP Board Yoga
Join us for a floating yoga class on Salt Spring Island's warmest lake, St. Mary's Lake. Class is suitable for the beginner or experienced yogi. Must be a confident swimmer.
Own equipment $30 plus tax
Renting equipment $40 plus tax

A few things to consider......
- protect yourself from the sun with sunscreen, a hat and a lightweight long sleeved shirt
- dress in layers with the knowledge that it can be 5 - 10C colder on the water than on land
- avoid cotton as when it gets wet it stays wet and cold against your skin
- quick drying layers such as yoga or running clothes are perfect
- bring a towel and a change of clothes
- leave behind all valuables and items you don't want to get wet or lose
- bring water in a non-glass container
- be prepared to have fun
